The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 have changed the world. The attacks are the main reason for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, where thousands of soldiers, and hundreds of thousands of innocent civillians have died. The terrorist attacks are the cause for the decline of a lot of our freedom, privacy, and civil liberties. In the United States, 9/11 has resulted in the passing of the 'Patriot Act', whereby civil rights of the American people have been rudely diminished. Now an endless stream of 'suspected terrorists' have been shipped to secret prisons like Guantánamo Bay, Abu Graib, and other secret detention facilities. 

Still there hasn't been, or has been very little independant investigation to the root cause of these attacks.

 

The Bush Administration immediately pointed the finger at Osama Bin Laden, and al-Qaida to be the purpetrators of the attacks, and they didn't feel the direct need for a full investigation of the events.

After the Administration postponed the assembling of an investigative commission for over a year, they have even tried to influence the investigation itself, where ever they could.

In 2004, a rapport eventually surfaced, which, according to a growing number of experts, tries to distort the evidence, completely leaves out facts, and even contradicts the commissions' findings itself.  

 

 

Did you know that American officials had recieved numerous warnings in advance, about the posibillity of terrorist attacks on American targets, using hi-jacked jet liners? And that there were specific warnings that pointed to the date of September 11?
Did you know that, besides the twin towers of the WTC, a third WTC sky scraper collapsed on the same day - without any airplanes flying in to it?

 

Did you know that there are Fighter Jets, permanently on stand-by on American Airforce bases around the country, ready to intercept any suspicious aircraft?

Did you know that during the confirmed hi-jacking of 9/11, those same Fighter Jets were not sent to intercept for a full hour and twenty minutes?

 

Did you know that the reinforced concrete of the WTC tower 1 and 2 have been pulverized? Did you know that to do this, it would need a force twenty times as powerful as the power which is released during a regular collapse? And that such a power can only be deriven from explosives, for example used in controlled demolotion?
 

Did you know that the government immediately ordered all the rubble and steel to be removed from ground zero? And that they didn't allow any investigation of the salvaged materials?

Did you know that numerous video footage, from the Sheraton Hotel and a gas station across the street, showing the Pentagon Attack, have been immediately confiscated by the FBI, and never released?

 

Did you know that the thing that flew into the Pentagon left a hole the size of only 5,5 meters, or about 16 feet, and thus could never have been the result of a Boeing 757, which has a wing-span of 38 meters?

Did you know that President Bush stated that in fact he knew a plane had flown in to the World Trade Center, before he attended the reading at the elementary school?

Did you know that at least five of the seventeen alleged high-jackers are still alive and well?

 

Did you know that not a single person has been punished for the mistakes made on September 11? Furthermore: that a number of responsible individuals even got a promotion?
